Travis Tom is a Senior Industrial Designer with twenty-two years of multi-faceted experience in product design; ranging from mobile phones, consumer electronics, aircraft architecture, and baby products. He is driven in pursuit of pushing design further, tempered by real world tactical business goals. After ArtCenter College of Design with a degree in Industrial Design he began his professional career at Nokia, where he developed Vertu and Nokia smart devices. Navigating the complexities of global corporations including co-developing with multi-disciplinary teams to consistently maintain a strategic creative vision, he was elevated to a senior design lead for flagship smart phones. He designed a product using intelligent application of consumer insight, budget and design strategy that ultimately surpassed quadruple sales expectations. He was the lead designer for numerous projects, most recently the Nokia Lumia Icon, a flagship smartphone for Verizon. At Teague, he was expanding his knowledge in the aviation industry, where he was a design lead for aviation architecture programs.
